Tandem
Hey,
I just saw your post. Pretty much all Turkish people re really friendly kindly and polite. Different cultures mean different forms of behavior. Something I learned before I got here was that the Turkish flag and the first president (and founder of the Republic of Turkey) Atatürk are very very important to you. So must just be careful what I say! :D:D But really though, the people are great. They also like to eat a lot. it is a big part of our lives, and You won't take no for an answer if i say that im NOT hungry :D :D. If you are still looking for a tandem partner, then let me know. English is my mother tongue, but my German is pretty darn good too.
